Requests to People Who Are Going To See a Doctor

Emergency outpatients who come at night or on holidays are seen by the doctors who are on duty that day.
Medical care is limited to first aid, and a specialist may not always be available to provide it.
Therefore, please come for our normal outpatient services the next day that they are available.
Our emergency outpatient services give priority to patients with severe injuries.
Please understand that you may need to wait longer to see a doctor if (for example) someone comes who requires emergency aid.
We will prescribe the minimum amount of medication to last until the next time you come.
We cannot issue medical certificates as part of our emergency outpatient services.
If you need a medical certificate, please come for our normal outpatient services at a later date.
(However, this does not apply in cases such as influenza, where a certificate needs to be issued to prevent other people from getting infected.)
We cannot process payment of medical fees at night (weekdays: 20:00-8:00 the next day; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 17:00-8:00 the next day).
We operate a "temporary deposit system" whereby you pay the following amounts for the time being, then the difference is settled at a later date.

If you presented your insurance card: 5,000 yen

If you did not present your insurance card: 10,000 yen

Note: Holiday and late-night fees are added for care outside the normal service hours.
